On Saturday, the 27th of January, the Beijing Scottish Society will gather for our annual Burns Night Dinner and Dance. This year’s event will be held at the Peninsula Hotel. Pre-dinner drinks begin at 6:30pm.
Burns Night, the annual celebration of the life and poetry of the Scottish bard, Robert Burns, is a unique event in the Scottish calendar that shouldn’t be missed! Burns Night will have haggis, whisky, dancing and a lot of laughter and fun! Burns’ life and works are commemorated with songs, recitals and tributes and a hearty feast. A live band will be there, flown in from Scotland, to play the music while we ceilidh the night away.

Tickets are 1,000 RMB for a single (or 9,000 RMB for a table of 10) and include pre-dinner drinks, a four-course meal, free-flow whisky, wine, beer and soft drinks, and dancing to a live ceilidh band.
Dress code: Black Tie and evening dress. Ladies, please remember to bring additional flat shoes for dancing as there should be no high heels on the dance floor.
Included in your ticket price are 2 fantastic social dance evenings at the British School of Beijing, Sanlitun, from 7to 8:30pm on the 18th and 25th of January.
